I applied chase preferred sapphire card a few days ago with 50k bonus points after spending 3000$ in three months. Now I hear there is a better target promotion that is Earn 100,000 bonus points when you spend $500 within the first 3 months. I sent a secure message and asked them to match this offer, and they kindly offer me extra 50K points. Now the 50k points are shown in my account and I can earn extra 50k bonus points after spending 3000$ in three months. Hope you can get it as well! (YMMV)

Note:
1, I asked offer match through online secure message after I log into your account. 50k points were posted to my account instantly.
2, Yes, it is a target offer for certain people while I am not. But I asked for offer match and they offer me extra 50k.
Hope this help.

don't call

Update:
Most guys got the extra points after sending the secure message-Smilie.

Update: chase even match the old 25k offer, see below:
Just so everyone knows: I have had the chase saph preferred for about a year. When I signed up they had a spend 3k in the first 3 months for 25k points. I e-mailed them referencing this 100k deal at 1PM today, I just got a response and they gave me 75,000 extra points instead of 50k!!!! Insane deal, easy $1,000 travel money. Upvoted and Repped!

SEND VIA SECURE MESSAGE. Per my own experience and reading through the posts, the far majority of requests sent via secure message were successful. most of the calls did not work. the link is on the left side of the page - screenshot attached..

people are asking what message to send. just say something along the lines of "I was informed of a new promo for 100k points. How do I get this promo..." Just put it in your own wording so the reps don't get suspicious.

It doesn't make sense that they would offer 100,000 points (which can be converted to $1000 cash) for spending "$500 within the first 3 months". But if this *IS* legit, I just received and activated my card yesterday and would jump on the match in a heartbeat! OP, please provide some more details - which 800 number you dialed, the name of the specific offer you asked to get matched, etc. and it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Only three? I have six!

I sent a secure message asking for my bonus to be bumped to 100k. I will let you know the results.

Won't opening so many lines of credit drop your credit score?

In my experience an inquiry drops your score by about 5 points, but the score rises again within a few months. I probably have between 15 and 20 active cards at the moment and a 750+ credit score.

Yes but it's not a big deal if you're already made major purchases (house, car) and are making timely payments. Even better if you've paid everything off already!

Plus with all the cards, as long as you don't have any late payments, you'll build your credit up again.
