Still waiting for min from buy.com. It had been a while since I ordered from them. WTH are rokutan points? and they have a marketplace too?? I'd much rather have my expectations exceeeded by newegg than wondering where my switch is a week later...

This is the crappy version with the plastic casing. Newegg also often times will have the metal cased version for the same $25 shipped price.

I have the metal case version, it doesn't even get hot....That thing looks like it will last me 10+ years. The TRENDnet TEG-S80G also gets better reviews. |

Did a little digging both this and the metal case consume around 3.5 watts. Also the operating temperature is the same too, so I'm concluding that you dont know what you are talking about.
