i'll end my service with my current carrier before my phone arrive to activate it. so i can't import my number yet cuz i dont have the optimus v yet. how do i import my contact info to google voice? TIA.
I have a feature phone right now, the contract is up but I still pay 40 bucks per month for unlimited text and a ton of minutes, but no web,
Thinking of going with the LG Optimus V and getting the 25 dollar plan (I hardly use minutes, I want the unlimited text and data). Anyone have experience with their coverage in NJ? Also, is this phone smooth? I went to BB to play with it but only the Windows 7 phones are on/functional there for me to play with. I've used an iphone 3gs, i saw nothing wrong with it (but i don't want a contract and don't care for apple) so if this performs similar to that, it would be good.
How do you pay though? I can pay online but my mother who wants to get one of these won't do that, is there a card she can buy at a store for it?
It ain't what you do, it's the way that you do it.
Does anyone know if we have an existing VM phone and plan and move it to this phone if we will still get the $25 1st month coverage? Looking at the activation..seems like it's done by a 3rd party Cellular Store for HSN.

I live in Ocean County, work in north Jersey. No problems to report up the GSP/Turnpike corridor for me.
I've downloaded games and apps and so forth from the Amazon App Store and it still runs smoothly - just put the downloads on a SD card. Makes things much easier.
One thing you will get from time to time is the browser will "run out of memory." Have to clear the cache now and again. And every once in a while the 3G will act up, I go in and turn it off and on again in the settings and it's fine.
You can go into any Target and buy the Top Up cards in Electronics - right by the Virgin Mobile phones. I mean you could buy them in advance, you can buy them month by month - and if you have a Target Red debit card they are always 5% off.
I like the service - have had it since February. $25 a month is awesome.
Install google voice and stop worrying about minutes
How do u get it to receive call? I'm on iPhone 4 n I only get it to call out, and for rececing call I had it forward to my real cell number. Can u tell me how u get ur google voice to call n receive call thanks!
*sigh* HSN is so slow in actually shipping the product. I bought the phone on Sunday, got a tracking number on Wednesday, but it is Friday and USPS is still showing they haven't actually received the phone for shipping. The tracking number is in their system, but it says they only received electronic notification and have yet to receive the phone itself to ship.
