Asked this young girl cashier...and she is like "well you know they are random...not all customers get them". I'm like I am doing an advertised promo...and she again repeats.."they are random"....doh!?!?! and then hands them to me acting a bit surprised.

If you were unable to talk to the manager, I have a suggestion. Go to the HEB website and go to the Contact Us and email them. When I email a comment, or problem, I almost always get a personal phone call from a manager within a couple of days.

FYI, HEB has a video camera on every cash register line. So even if the cashier gives you what is rightfully yours after you fuss, you can take your complaint to the manager for follow-up.

Thanks,also, if anyone runs into this problem I also saw that the number on the Cat includes the store #, the date, AND the TIME!!

I matched these to my receipt that says my check out was at 6:17 (the receipt printed AFTER the catalina, by one minute)

My other catalinas from different stores/dates/times confirms this same pattern

I usually check to make sure the green light is on and then ask the cashier if it is working, usually I get the "yeah, it should be" answer and then I watch it like a hawk, even if it's not facing me I will position around to make sure I see if something is printing. Yep! This is true, I emailed in the morning and by the time I got home from work there was a call from my store manager on my machine with his cell phone number. He even told me to keep his number in case I have further questions or concerns, woo hoo!

Some matchups on coupons are as follows

(The ring up price counts toward the $40 threshold and it is basically like taking an extra .375 off per $1 spent- just trust me on this. I will put that value off the item in RED after ring up price to give you an idea of your true COST(true cost will be in BLUE) per item after catalina. I am assuming in this you are going for the $40 scenarios to get the $15 cat. This might confuse some so at the end I will try to post some scenarios, but everyone is different on what they want to get so hopefully this will give you the true cost of item. Feel free to ask questions and I will try to clarify):

Now basically decide what you want, and make sure it is $40 before your coupons. I have told you what your final cost of that item will be after the coupons and the cat savings are taken into consideration. Now you just have to decide if Mr Clean, for example, is worth .54 to you! Of course you have to buy $37.53 more of other stuff to get it for that, but that is where the fun begins!

If you want to just do $30 scenarios, use .333 instead of .375 as your multiplyer.

I forgot to look today but did the Crest rinse go up in price? Last time I checked it, I thought it was $4 but I could be wrong. Was thinking of trying one more run tomorrow night.

Also, has anyone had to contact Catalina about not getting a CAT for this promotion? Even though it is a store coupon, they are the right ones to contact, correct? I bought $25 worth and didn't get anything tonight. I think the Tide Stain Release free and clear didn't register towards the total but should have.

Edited to add that BTFE IS working in Copperas Cove. There are 2 end caps even with the display.
