Pretty good deal if you can get no tax. Ideally it should have come with a wi-fi stick included. This is a deal to seriously consider for those of us that don't have Fry's and couldn't get the 3D 5600 model from LG for $1199. Can someone tell me if this TV has network capabilities at all? Could I stream files via ethernet from another PC?
There seems to be a $50 off coupon automatically applied. I'm not sure if that is on top of the $1499 or already included. Edit: I did some research and while the TV seems to generally get good reviews, the Blu-Ray player included has some pretty bad reviews and so does the sound bar. The sound bar is apparently only good in small rooms and the Blu-Ray player has netflix, sound and other issues. This doesn't seem as slick as I thought. I wish they would sell the TV alone for around $999-$1199. Last edited by ArseneWenger; 06-23-2011 at 10:11 AM.. |

It does have network streaming built in through Medialink/Plex. It's been reviewed pretty favorably. Great TV if you don't want/need 3D. You also get Netflix and other apps. Hulu and Pandora are supposed to be coming Q3. The only issue is I don't believe it supports native DTS decoding through the media server.
I just bought the TV only for $1279 from Paul's TV via Amazon. The prices have been fluctuating the past few days though. http://www.amazon.com/LG-Infinia-...ef=lh_ni_t |
