9:40am CST DEAL IS DEAD - Office Depot has corrected the price mistake on their web site, back to $449.99 with no rebate.
No rebate printed up for me...They had it up front with a big sticker that said instant $180 off which brought the price down to $449.99.
I think this is dead before it started

This is the end of the fiscal Qtr. for most of the major manufacturers.
They want your money to hit their bottom line right now so that they can show revenue.
You'll get your money back sometime towards the middle of next quarter, after they've taken advantage of the start of the holiday shopping season and "back-to-school" shoppers.
Expect to see lots of deals with huge rebates over the next 10 days.

The rebate should print out on the receipt, exactly as described above.

The point of it is the big rebates on the low end. In order to make a similar deal for your wishlist item, you'd end up with about a $450 rebate.
