Good deal if you don't have 12 issues for $12 with auto-renew offer. I signed up for that offer last year and never had to worry about subscription lapsing since then.

Thanks! I get my Economist on StudentMags but 3 years after graduating this seems like a more ethical way to go

Has anyone tried the iphone app? I use to have a subscription but let it lapse about 2 years ago; however, I downloaded the app and signed in with my old account information and still receive full access (instead of publisher highlights as noted) to every issue.

Regardless, it might be worth the shot for you to call them and ask them about your old subscription. May be they can reinstate it. |

51 bucks for a magazine for 1 yr? hopefully you guys learn something from this.... like paying 51 bucks for 1 year of a magazine being idiotic. go to the library and read it for free, its only once a month!
