OBI 110 voice adapter for use with landline?
Hi, looking to get rid of my landline provider and go voip with the OBI110. I have a 5 phone handset i wish to add.
Anyone care to chime in on quality of calls using google voice, which is free with the OBI110?

Hi, looking for honest input regarding Voip. I have it narrowed down to Ooma, Netalk or Magic Jack Plus.
I don't think you can compare with Magic Jack Plus yet since it is not generally available yet.
At this moment, for call quality, it is
Ooma > Netalk Duo > (way better than) Magic Jack.
And for OBi110/Obi110, the device is $50/$40 and people said the call quality is as good as Ooma. And there is no monthly fee when you use it with Google Voice.
Anyway, if you don't want no monthly fee option, can wait for more reviews for Magic Jack plus. Hopefully Magic Jack plus can put them at least near NetTalk Duo quality. Probably need to wait few more months to get enough reviews of the voice quality of the new Magic Jack plus and also the overall device quality (like does device die within few months, etc). Saw one review said Magic Jack Plus get VERY hot which is not good for any electronic device. Over heat can cause more problem/failure and the device won't last as long.
disreguard above post, i was going to buy the Ooma or nettalk , or mj plus
but since researched and found the OBI110 with no charges incoming and outgoing using google voice.

I use my Obi100 with GV all of the time working from home. GV terminates the call after 120 minutes, but I don't mind; it sure beats burning up cell minutes since I don't have an unlimited plan. I hear everything crystal clear; other people on the conference calls say I am choppy at times, but I have a wireless ISP that has over a 20 mile back haul to their POP, so I'm not complaining. I have my desk phone forwarded to my GV number, so after 5pm, I uncheck the 'Google Chat' option within my GV account, so any callers from work automatically go to VM. I like my setup.
