Pre-cut Laminate Countertops on clearance @ Lowes 90% off YMMV

I've seen them at 2 stores in the Orlando area.... Just picked up 2 nice granite-look pieces for 90% off! I bought a 6ft section for $6.80 (reg $68) and the lady marked an 8ft piece to $10, but it rang up as $8.40 at the register. Great deal if you're in the market for cheap laminate countertops. I'm using mine for the garage, so they were a great buy at this price. They seem to have this sale once a year and there were several different laminate patterns on clearance.

It's unlikely that you can do a kitchen with the pieces but like the OP said, probably pretty useful for a garage or other small area.

Liquid-proof finish(to a point) and cleans up nicely. Built-in backsplash is a plus. Heavy as all get-out, so be prepared.

They're really not too heavy... they are probably 3/4" particle board after all. I was able to load both pieces into the truck myself.
