Netflix???

At this point I am thinking I will probably go to the instant streaming only but will miss the movie in the mail - I was just wondering if there wasn't any better deals out there. Thanks

not that i know of hubby likes the streaming but i like the movies

I enjoy the movies as well but I think the family gets more use out of the streaming. We are able to get some good movies from our local library so I imagine we'll be going there more.

Blockbuster offers 1 DVD at 9.99 (by mail and unlimited in store exchange) and 2 DVD for 14.99 (same option) - no streaming.

Netflix has streaming for 8 bucks a month. 1 DVD for an additional 8 bucks a month. I think Blockbuster had a huge opportunity and didn't take it.

Netflix is now $7.99 for 1 DVD at a time, and another $7.99 if you want the streaming service as well. Even though they just jacked these prices up, they're still the best deal out there.

Or get Netflix "streaming only" and also Hulu plus, criterion collection is great if you like artsy movies. =]

The basic deal is one cost per month and you can have one DVD out at a time. So, you could watch as many DVDs as you want per that month. It just depends on how fast you watch, and then return them.

I don't know about Netflix. I am just not into monthly deals. My mind changes so much on these things that I feel like I would forget about it. I did the Blockbuster thing for a couple months and for the first month I loved it but then didn't use it at all after that. I am going to stick to Hulu, and just use Redbox whenever I am looking for a movie. Plus, there are not a lot of god movies out there anymore.

I had the Netflix one at a time, with streaming for a while. Then the price increase came and I teetered for a while on what I would do. In the end I canceled it all together. Netflix Streaming is nice, but there was rarely any ting that I wanted to see. There was plenty of things I was "willing" to watch, but few things I "wanted" to watch.

Netflix Streaming became a time filler. Something to use when I wanted to watch something, but didn't have any ideas in mind. It was watching for the sake of watching. With plenty of other things to watch, owned DVDs and Podcasts; Netflix Streaming became not worth it.

Which leaves just the DVD plan. There are few movies coming out that I really want to see these days. So Redbox it is. Leaving Netflix useless for me. So I canceled.
