Also check local Sears Outlet stores, they some times have excellent deals on mattress.

Beware of Mattress rip-offs
One of the most smarmy industries around, they have ripped people off forever. It has been very difficult to comparative shop for mattresses because the manufacturers are in cahootz with them, selling the same mattress with many different model names. Their profits have been obscene! I bought a king set from Costco two years ago & from my research & detective work, the virtually same mattress offered @ Sleepy's or 800-Mattress was @ least twice as expensive. Buyer beware! |

You didn't specify any geographic areas, so I'll suggest a local store in my area from whom I bought a great mattress: Mealy's

I probably should have added that my Costco matress is probably 10 years old now and still quite good. |

I live in Queens NY, I will definitely check out costco as it seems like the dominate choice here. |
