WinTV, inDTube - color quality?
I used a WinTV (Hauppage) pci tuner - you can't schedule & record but can record in real time. Otherwise it is perfect.
So I changed it to
eVGA inDTube USB 2.0 ATSC/NTSC Portable TV Tuner w/DVR & MCE Compatibility
http://www.amazon.com/eVGA-inDTub...212&sr=8-1
I checked reviews and people have had issues with software - with Win 7 or likely with newer TV Enhance sw, problems seems to have gone away. So I installed. Records in mpg.
It works fine but the color quality is not rich - I have recorded clips from WinTV - looks more natural.
I use it on Win XP Pro, AMD 4200+. ASUS M3N78-VM. ALso use a GeForce 7300GS video card.
WinTV was on a ECS, P4 system - but recorded clip, avi file, was played on the AMD system.
Is there any fix?
Do you recommend another video card?
Nero Home can also play/record TV - not sure if it will improve color quality.
