Menards Deal Thread - FAR, Rebate, and Sale Discussion Thread

Kinda off topic, but anyways.....
Ive been out of country for 3 months returning end of march. Since returning ive been sending out my mail with my 44 cent stamps not realizing postage cost has gone up a penny.
So ive sent out as much as $500 worth of menard rebates in the past 2 weeks. The rebates are not showing yet on the rebate status, but would it be too early to show? Anyone have any idea on what the odds are that my mail goes through, or how long before it gets returned to me.

they probably still went, or else you would have had them returned to you by USPS provided that you put a return address on your envelope. In any case, dont use the rebate tracker unless you realize you havent received a rebate from 9 months ago. That thing is worthless

I think they did go through, at least some. I have 2 of them now showing on the tracker, and none returned.

You actually used 44 cent stamps or bought Forever stamps at 44 cents before and used them? I dont even think they sell 44 cent stamps do they? The whole intent of forever was to save them money printing expensive 1 cent stamps to make up every time they raise rates and rather allow you to use the cheaper bought ones at full current rate -- for first class only that is. All I ever get are forever stamps when I ask for a pack of 20 first class stamps.

Well, typically I too would buy the forever stamps. However 2 years ago there was a slickdeal involving the stamps with pics on them, and I purchased about 600 44 cent stamps, paying around 25 cents each. So now im stuck with them, lol.

its for wooden floors. Its a refinisher so get them looking shiny

I found the Sherpas that have been free from time to time on unadvertised FAR. Unlimited quantities too!
