Menards home improvement stores are located throughout the Midwest, with more than 250 stores in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Menards carries materials and tools for home improvement projects from light bulbs and paint to building a deck or a new home. Menards also carries name brand appliances, pet products, lawn and garden supplies, and groceries.

Menards regularly offers FREE and Discounted Items through the use of mail-in rebates that come in the form of STORE CREDIT. At any one time, Menards may have as many as six+ different sale advertisements, making it difficult to follow all the current good deals.

This thread is intended to keep track of all the current FAR, Rebate, and Sale items being offered at Menards - with (hopefully) regular updates to the wiki.

Good news, there will be a new ad coming out on Sunday (available Saturday at many stores and apparently as early as today at a couple stores) that has some smaller items and REBATE items that could be stacked with the current 20% bag sale! You can even MAKE MONEY with some of them. Far cry from what it used to be but still nice to see some stackability here:

Decent deals after sale + 20% bag discount:
$1.99 ($1.59 bag) 12 pack 75 watt incandescent light bulbs
$4.49 ($3.59 bag) 30 pack Sunbeam AA or AAA Alkaline batteries
$99 ($79.20 bag) RockSolid garage floor 1 part surfacing system (plastic vs. epoxy based)

Good deals after sale + 20% bag discount + rebate: (because 20% is off PRE-REBATE price!)
$2.49 AR ($1.39 bag+rebate) 5/8" x 12" x 36" Laminated shelf
$29.99 AR ($13.99 bag+rebate) Cordless 12V LiIon hammer
$4.99 AR ($3.39 bag+rebate) 4 outlet desktop extension box
$2.99 AR ($1.39 bag+rebate) Yoga mat (68x24)
$4.99 AR ($2.99 bag+rebate) 12 piece nut driver set SAE+Metric combined
$4.99 AR ($1.59 bag+rebate) Garage park sensor

Money makers..they pay you to take them out of the store by stacking:
$.99 AR (Make 20 cents bag+rebate) 36" Draft Stopper
$.99 AR (Make 1 cent bag+rebate) Bamboo cutting board
$FAR (Make 40 cents after bag+rebate) Nose wipes

To view these and other items in the ad, go to their web site and view weekly ad, then click change location and enter "37714" as the zip code and select Evansville, IL that for some reason continues to display the new Sunday ad's as early as Friday.

$4.49 ($3.59 bag) 30 pack Sunbeam AA or AAA Alkaline batteries
...
OK, Sunbeam? Are these worth even doing the rebate?

On the battery continuum, would you rate them higher or lower than the Menard's famous FAR's Ray-o-vacs?

Thanks for all you do.

So, I checked out the ad, THANKS SO MUCH!!

Question about rebates; I recently received my rebate from the last bloody mary mix deal. Can I now participate in this new rebate deal or is there some kind of limit to how often one can participate in the same product rebate?

I just checked the old rebate number with the current one and they are different so I am assuming I answered my own question with a "yes" that I can do this rebate again. Am I correct?

$1.40 per bottle after the 20% and rebate. I love this stuff. Normal price almost everywhere else around me is close to $6.00 per bottle.

They are not rebate, just sale + 20% off when tossed in the bag. That said, alkalines are alkalines for the most part -- for raw power; issue is with stability when not used I've found. My best experience is with Energizer or Duracel or Panasonic batteries. They NEVER explode/leak/have issues until WELL after their expiration date. I have many that expired in late 90's that still have almost all their power and have not started to leak clear liquid or build up white crystals. I have a few though that did do that or explode, but about 5 years after expiration.

Compare that with the worst of the bunch... RayOVac's. I have damaged so many items due to ROV's leaking or crystalizing or exploding.. all WELL BEFORE their expiration dates, all bought from Menards in the last 10 years. I stopped buying them for a few years there because of this. Many even were damaged sitting in 65 degree basement in their plastic containers 2-3 years before expiration (2-3 years after purchase). Only recently have I begun to buy them again as I ran out of others and they were exceptionally good deals AND my son now plows through them on some of his toys so they are used up quickly.

Honestly, I'd rate batteries that I've gotten as:

#1: Energizer/Duracel/Panasonic (never bought at Menards, just had from Walgreens deals and others)
#2..3 ?
#4 NorthTech (a few of this leaked just before expiration date but far fewer than ROV)
#5 AC Delco (a tad more of these with issues, but not bad)
#6..9
#10 RayOVac

You're welcome. I have never tried Sunbeam so don't know their durability/stability so can't judge. This price is better than the recent best deal on the ROV 48 packs (box with 4 carded 12 packs inside) which was $5.99 after rebate a couple times last fall. $3.59 / 30 = 11.97 cents each $5.99 / 48 = 12.48 cents each. For this price, may be worth taking a chance; it's not a bad deal pricewise. Of course on BlackFriday, 30 packs of AC Delco's were just $1.99, but that was black friday and you won't repeat those prices for another year.

PS: I don't recall FAR ROV's ever. Rebated yes, FAR? The onlythings that were ever FAR or frequently very cheap AR were the NorthTech brands back in the early 2000's when they were still black+green cells vs the new red+blacks.

Absolutely correct. Different rebate # = different offer, EVEN if the dates overlap in some way (has happened on some clearance things occassionally when they didnt sell enough during initial rebate offer, then created a new blow-out rebate that overlapped the original time periods slightly) Rebate eligibility is entirely tracked by # not by product/SKU.

Looks like they've pulled Evansville, IL from their site search results. I wonder if they're monitoring this site...

Hmmm. I am not finding Evansville either. I also tried zip 62242 what is the zip I found when I googled Evansville. It's not available in the pull-down list on Menards.

hmmm, lol, I just tried again and it did come up Owensboro but the ad was there. I then clicked on the ad and then "change location" entered the zip and there is Evansville.

Has anyone tried the Emilio Extra Virgin Olive Oil before? $8 for 2 liters is pretty cheap for EVOO.

Guys you all are using the wrong location for pulling up early ads. It is not Evansville IL but Evansville IN. The zip code is 47714. Ad has been available since Thursday midnight--nothing special though.

Thanks, my recollection failed me again, it was some Target printable coupons for $1 when the Rayovacs were in the $1 bins. I got a few AAs, but they just didn't last. I gave some away to relatives, and they told me they failed instantly, even if they were free they weren't worth it! laugh out loud

I need power, man, power! Energizer or Duracell. I've not tried Panasonic.

Thanks for the exhaustive battery info.

from november 23rd to December 29th, (6 weeks)

staples had 16 packs for free limit 2 per week per rewards account. (I got 50 packs of 16 AAA and AA.) Officemax also had a similar promotion for a few weeks.

Did you not take advantage of that?
