OneX Scam - your help please.

My Mother-in-Law has been invited to participate in something called OneX where you pay $5 and get others to join. It's obviously a pyramid scheme to me but I'd like to be able to present her with information that she can use to present to others who are getting suckered into it.

It has come to her via her church group which is mostly seniors who are easy victims for this sort of crap. I've told her to contact Clark Howard and have myself done some Google searching but haven't turned up any definitive information on this.

So if any of you know something about this then please post what you know here so that I can hopefully get my MiL to save her friends from getting ripped off.
