Its usually the dc24 and sometimes the dc25 that go on sale.


So $320 seems to be the usual sale price from an authorized dealer. The lowest i found it on slickdeals was $288 after coupon from target.

This one is $310 after the coupon. $300 if my 3% cashback works. So its an ok Deal I guess. Ill still be keeping my order.

now the question is ... when is Kohl's next 30% coupon out...for a nice in store PM (YYMV of course) using a printout of this page.

DC24 vs DC33?

They're both the same price. Any reason to go for one over the other?

I mainly like the 24 for the ball.

From the bit of research i have done, the dc33 has better suction.
also, some people just dont like the ball.

Jeez, since when did vacuum cleaners get so expensive? I remember my mom having a $100 vacuum and it did its job, albeit loudly. Suction technology hasn't improved that greatly over the years.

From what I've read, the DC25 and DC33 are similar in performance (suction), though the DC33 is a little wider and has more storage capacity. The DC25 obviously has the ball. The DC24 is also a ball, but is a "junior" version of the DC25 with much less suction power and capacity. The DC24 is likely fine for a small apartment or house, but you if you have a regular or large size home, or excess dirt/pet hair, you'll probably want to stick with the larger capacity DC25 or DC33 to avoid numerous trips to the trash can to dump the canister.
