Thank you, but no real help. I don't want to know what people who bought it thought (particularly Newegg users!!), I want to know what people who review speakers thought and I had trouble finding anything substantial with Google - so if you did, would you mind posting a link rather than getting snarky?

Also, I had the impression the MLT-2 was pretty much the same model - which I suspect is mostly just an effort to cash in on MartinLogan's name since they're respected for electrostatic speakers, not black boxes.

If you do some research, you'll find out that these speakers are most likely made by Paradigm. They really do look like the Paradigm Cinema series. Up to you,
