booo, they need to do this for existing customers. I have discover but their cashback isn't what it use to be compared to others. Im not a fan of their "need $50 increment" to get cashback back vs others where its $20 or higher and you get it ALL BACK.

Huh? Why? You get $50 more with this promotion.

Yeah you have to spend $1000 as opposed to $500, but $1000 over three months should be relatively easy for most people to do. And there is always the option to buy Amazon gift cards just in case you can't.

Good point. Getting charged 3%-5% instantly for balance transfer is really stupid. If I owe $1000 on my other card I would owe $1030 on discover from day 1 !!!!

BT fee is 3%, i jumped when they had the 0% offer last year (well, sometimes you had to refresh, it would either show 05, 3%, 4%, or 5% laugh out loud)

12 months of 0% on balance transfers for this one vs 24 in other one.

I just talked with a CSR. She said she is not aware of this offer, and it is not through their site.

Although she mentioned that it may be a third party promotion.

I don't suggest anybody sign up via the OPs link until maybe OP clears up his source for the deal..

Although you get $50 more with this promo, the other promo gives a 30% return as to this one only giving 20%. Also it is a lot easier to spend $500/3mos. Anyways, OP can you state the source you got this information from? Thank you.
