DEAD - $13+tax La Quinta Inns on Hotwire for dates next spring for some hotels in the northeast

Something is going on with Hotwire. They have La Quintas in these areas for $13 next spring. Most dates are in May and June, but some go earlier. It looks like some places are only M-F at this price.

Plattsburgh, NY
Clifton, NJ
Portland, ME
Farmington - Plainville, CT
Windsor - BDL airport, CT
New Haven, CT
Andover, MA
Salem, NH
Milford, MA
Auburn, MA
Somerville, MA
Warwick, RI

There may be more locations so check any areas you might be interested in.

Nothing spectacular, but if you just want a place to sleep then it works pretty good. I am doing 5 nights in Clifton for about 80 and going to ride NJTransit into the city for a cheap NYC trip.

Somerville looks like a good one too. It is close to the orange line T station and has a shuttle.

It looks like any night in May that is not a Sunday night works for Clifton. I just threw some other random dates in and it looks like it works for this hotel at least from Jan 2nd to the end of schedule.

You have to randomly put in dates by hand. They don't make it easy as far as I know. From what I have seen these prices are grouped together so you just have to figure out what the starting and ending dates are then work from that. It doesn't look like this is on for one week and off the next and back on again after that.

Just returned from a one-night stay in Boston that cost $160 (+ taxes and fees) on Priceline, so $39 for 3 nights is a killer deal for that area. Great post!

Oh Yeah!!

Booked three nights in Portland, ME in June 2012 for $50, after taxes. Woot Woot! FYI, my dates included a Saturday so it's worth a try. Also, for those thinking they might have to cancel... trip insurance was offered for $8. woot

Just checked same hotel and dates on Expedia. "Total room cost: $516.33 Expedia Special Rate" I saved $466.33!!!!
