why bash webOS unless you're insecure about whatever OS you're running? It would have been easier to ignore this thread if you didn't have anything constructive to add to the deal.

But with that said, Android has very few apps designed for the tablet version of it, Honeycomb. webOS is pretty much on par with it as far as true tablet apps.

Obviously Apple is in another league here. If you want a tablet with the most dedicated apps, get the iPad. If you want an OS that is polished looking, elegant, intuitive, and has true multi-tasking support consider a webOS device, like the Touchpad. Most dedicated apps are a bit gimmicky, since you can usually find the same service from their website. And with a large tablet, often times the website is a more thorough experience.

How do tablets like this compare to the iPad in ease of viewing video?

Converting .AVI files into .MP4 format for Apple devices is a pain in the ass.
I don't understand why they refuse to support common file types on their platforms.

Lots of Android tablets have access to the Marketplace, especially the major-brand tablets (Samsung Galaxy Tab, Asus Transformer, Motorola Xoom, Acer Iconia).
