How do I figure out what version E1000 I have?

I would like to instal DD-WRT on my new (refurbished) E1000. I guess the first step is figuring out which version I have, but I have no idea how to do so. My google results are coming back unhelpful. Do you have any advice?

I'm not sure if the process is the same for installing it regardless of version (haven't made it to that step yet), so maybe I should go ahead and ask if there's a good tutorial for installing...

The version should be printed or sticker'd on the chassis near the ports.

Log into the default firmware and it should state what hardware version.

I really appreciate your reply.

Unfortunately, I have the same problem as the user in the thread you linked me to. It doesn't say the version number anywhere. :-/ (The bottom of my router looks the same as the one pictured in that thread.)

I guess I'll assume it's a v1...

No go on the sticker. I've scrutinized every bit of text on the thing, and it doesn't list a version number. The bottom of my router looks the same as the one pictured in the thread that cavan linked to. http://homecommunity.cisco.com/t5...d-p/352756

I'll try logging into the firmware and seeing what that says. Thanks!
