It is called AMD Dual Graphics or asymmetric CrossFire and uses AFR (Alternate Frame Rendering) to render different frames on the two graphic cores." |

Quote from GoldenTiger : Benchmarks for the 6720G2, unfortunately it only functions under DX10/11 and typically results in little boost even then, while dragging down (beyond single-GPU levels) performance for DX9 titles (it can be disabled to use the discrete GPU only which is faster): http://www.tomshardware.com/revie...959-9.html (yeah I know it's tom's but it has the numbers).

Weird choice to pair an A6 chip with low-end dedicated graphics. The dedicated graphics on this are about 30-40 percent faster than the integrated graphics because the integrated graphics has 80 of the SPUs disabled. The A8 with 400 SPUs would perform pretty simlarly to the 6650 (480 SPUs).

Yes it will, below is similar to how it will perform. In the test they used a A8 instead of a A6 but its probably just 10-15% difference. The GPU is actually a little better than the 6630M dGPU they used in those test/benchmarks.

Good deal, but as you all have pointed out, odd setup. Upgrade the video card or don't put one in here at all for performance/value.
700 Total SSD's handled between two jobs. Plextor M3s, M5s, Crucial M4s, Intel 320s, and Samsung 470/830s are reliable. 2 M4 failure among ~200 of them. Sandforce Sata II controlled drives, 6 RMAs among ~175 units. There, now you know why I post like I do, professional, personal experience.
If you are going to ask "what deal was that?" or" where can I find out about deal so and so?" use the search feature on SD or Google first. |

ya dude... i love how these nubz get on here to talk about stuff they dont know. i can usually weed them out but its becoming harder these days lol ... but i digress ![]() here is language these youngsters will comprehend: cheap/expensive price for cheap quality (HP, gateway, compaq) = EPIC FAIL! cheap price for exceptional quality (asus, apple, toshiba, fujitsu) - EPIC WIN!
