And thats the ram you got? You got slower ram. The speed of the ram on this laptop is 1333. You went with 1066.

lol. I didn't see that post before I posted mine. The hp will probably be a good machine with the higher clocked proc, but the asus seems to be the better performer on games.

Ummmm, yeah, you're "deal" was actually an oversight of HP, that's why it's no longer available. That coupon code was never supposed to work on that laptop making it more of a fluke than a deal. This laptop is a great buy that has a legit price of $450 (no coupon needed, no "hurry up and buy it before the realize the error", no social engineering, etc) and the biggest problem is that it's sold out (which means a LOT of people have bought them, I suspect the HP is still available).

Just my $.02

Also, I've got an HP at home and it's run pretty good so far; my biggest issue is that I've had to replace the battery twice in the 3 1/2 years I've had it (that's probably because I don't know how to take care of my battery - could someone link a battery care and maintenance guide for reference by chance?).
