Reviews on Lowes say it rusts, I thought stainless steel can't get rust ??? Sounds like it's steel painted over ??
Review: http://bbq.about.com/od/gasgrillr...32310a.htm Doesn't look good, I'd rather get a smaller grill that will last than a big one that looks good but doesn't last. Last edited by NeedBargain; 08-09-2011 at 11:43 AM.. |

All steal rusts even stainless and galvanized. The fact that people are saying that this thing rusts “to early” is because the stainless steel used is cheap and thin when compared to a Weber. I plan on spraying the inside with vegi oil spray and I will keep it covered at all times, this should help prevent rust forming. And to see how much a Weber costs with the same features as this grill… Here is a $1,900 Weber (ON SALE) which have the same features as my $352 grill (but I also have a cover). Sure the Weber is better... but not that much better. http://www.amazon.com/Weber-27803...84&sr=1-19 |

I have a 5yr old Brinkman grill that was given to me by a friend. I can get it going again if I buy new burner tubes for it. Approx $50.
Or should I just get a new grill? I will be converting whatever grill I go with to NG by following some DIY instructions I found on the net. Give me absolute safety or give me death!

http://www.acehardware.com/produc...2401857664 No converting needed. This is the CHEAPEST Weber (made by weber) you can buy, better quality then this grill but missing alot of features. I really wanted the rotisserie and I like a good DEAL.. and at 40.78% off, I could not resisit the Master Forge. |

Thanks OP, bought one for my Brother in law... Looked at it in the store, no where near as nice as my Summit S-670...... but not 2k either. Looks like it is a 4-5yr and toss at best, but for the price no complaints. It is really cheap stainless BTW but far thicker then the crappy char-broils at the same price..

Just wanted to say that I have installed it and everything works perfect. The instructions were not perfect... told me to use the wrong screws... but I figured it out perfectly.
In about 4 minutes... the temp read 550 degrees!!! This thing ROCKS. The light inside I thought it was a gimick... but it also ROCKS.... can't believe how easy it is to grill in the dark with no other light |
