I hope they bring back the add a Dell Streak 5 for only $99.
VisionTek does not honor their lifetime warranty. Do not buy graphics cards from them.

worst reader...battery hardly last 2 to 3 hours or lesser..tried all tricks...still stays below 2 to 3 hrs...not worth being called a portable tablet as one has to pretty much keep it plugged to the charger.
The display too is lousy. I ported Android 3.2, was v easy...but no fun due to the crappy battery.and antique looking display |

Got the streak 7 for $199 from staples with their $100 off coupon 2 weeks ago. However, I'm bringing it back tonight because the screen resolution is just too low and watching video is my primary use.
It's a very good device if you can get it for $199. I flashed it with honeycomb and it runs pretty smoothly. If watching video is not the primary use, i will definitely recommend it. Last edited by beef1218; 08-11-2011 at 03:14 PM.. I hate to regret not getting sth when it was on sale.

Screen resolution is 800x480 while iphone4 is 960x640. The upside is that it has dual-core 1GHz processor with 512MB ram, which is similar to those $400 android tablets. Last edited by beef1218; 08-11-2011 at 03:22 PM.. |
