Used it for the first time today. Bought 3 tickets for a show at the local cinema and got the confirmation code within minutes and an e-mail with tickets to print out within an hour. Now the the tickets had somebody elses name on it so was a bit worried. I called Amex to ask if they thought it was fraud or if there had been any suspicious activity on my card. They said they hadn't heard of anything bad about them and since Paypal was their main payment provider it was unlikely to be a scam. Went to the cinema and went straight to the ticket collector at the theatre [as advised - thought that was wierd too} and she scanned the tickets and could not find us BUT she let us in anyway. Now I don't know whether it was a problem with her scanner, the barcodes on the tickets sent, whether they were bogus tickets or real but I guess I got to see the film for half price. The theatre was 3/4 empty so I guess she wasn't bothered either way but just wondering what would have been the situation had it been a full show or she had investigated further. Maybe worth a try but can't be 100% sure it is legit. The tickets etc looked legit for what its worth and the e-mail service was good.
