Just got back from Ralphs
I bought 6 Begging strips and 2 cans of Alpo for 89 cents each I only had 3 coupons. I got a $3.00 cat. When I was there I thought the deal was buy 25 get 5 dollar cat. So that is why I got 2 cans of dogfood to put my total over over 25 dollars.
Someone was asking for a price check on the kandoo wipes, they were 1.99.

Gum toothbrushes and flossers are 1.00, there is a coupon for .55/1 coming out on Sunday. I already have some of the coupons. I got a toothbrush for free after .55 mfr q doubled.

On a side note: I got my renewal for the LA Times for the glorious rate of $59.28 for 6 papers, same price, They should give me a commission since my neighbors ordered as well.

What code did you use for the LA times subscription or was this special due to a renewal?

I don't know if it was a special per say it seems like they just continued to charge me the same rate when I used a promo code. The promo code I would assume is now expired as its been a year. I don't know if they have any current ones. It was $9.88/yr.

Especially since all these people from EC live in states with stores that double/triple crazy and unlimited # of coupons. I'm sorry, we could never obtain 99% savings on bills with hundreds of items...ugh. That show makes me so mad.

Actually, Jennifer Freeman and the other speaker Shannon Jones (from GrocerySmarts.com) live in Las Vegas and said their stores don't double coupons. They don't even get the RedPlum or P&G BrandSaver in their newspapers, only SmartSource.

Check out the website GrocerySmarts.com or for a faster link to the Southern California stores, UTsmartbuys.com. I think it's a useful resource for matching coupons and sale prices. It's not the only website that does it, but it's free and I'm happy to have the site as an available resource.

Another Kohl's $10 off $30 (purple) peelie on the front cover of the L.A. Times today. I guess $10 off $30 rather than $10 off $20 is their new norm (which will keep me out of Kohl's). Third time in a row now. At least JC Penney's coupon that started today, again, is still $10 off $25....
