How did you get LuneOS to work on the TouchPad and where did you find the software? Are there any issues. Is it stable. I need to do something with my Touchpads but do not want to deal with the various android power off issues.
sorry to take so many months to notice the response Frown

Here's how to get LuneOS on it:

It's really nowhere near complete, it's a developer toy, I'd say. You can get farther still with the old webOS and all the hacks available at webosnation forums to keep so much of the software up to date and running.

I've been really happy with the 5.0.2 Lollipop release from Evervolv, the last 5.0.2 version before they started working on 5.1.x was really good except for Bluetooth support sucking. I guess 4.3 is about as good as it gets for really decent bluetooth coverage.

Thanks for the reply. We have two TouchPads just sitting. I never made the transition to Android. Simply reading the instructions gave me a headache and the failing to power on scared me. We made the transition to IPads earlier this year. I still have to figure out what to do with the TouchPads. Oddly enough I think both TPs are faster than my 64 gb Air2 . The only good thing I can say about the IPad, every website I try works.

I would be happy to accept any and all devices that people can no longer find a use for :-) These tablets are eventually going to start wearing out, although my surprise that my original one is still working fine after 4 years is quite high, too. But it's good to have backups.. and I love the TouchPad.
