Sweet, I ordered a Hamilton Beach juicer last week but when I got it, the package was damaged so I sent it back. I had wanted a better juicer but couldn't find any deals. Definitely took the plunge on this one.

Been thinking of getting a juicer, but never tried it before. Should I take the plunge on this one orget a sub $100 centrifugal juicer? Any juicing veterans have thoughts?

What I don't like about the omega models is the way you use two little containers to hold the juice and pulp. My breville juice fountain has a pitcher where the spout goes in to prevent splash.

What I dontlike about the centri models are the mesh screens you have yo cleean with a brush

I love my Omega masticator.

While on YT, search for John Kohler of Discount Juicers. He's used most every juicer on the market.
recipes? I just use whatever I have on hand-beets, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, ginger, lemons, apples...

I've seen a couple of those in action & they make less juice than the masticators.

With the masticator, you can keep putting the pulp back in without turning the machine off or dismantling it. I sometimes put mine in 5 times (especially for nut butters & wheat grass).

LOL my 2 containers are still in the plastic bubble wrap. I put my drinking glass under the spout where the juice comes out & I let the pulp just fall on the counter, After the first juicing is done & I drink it, I then pick up the pulp & run it through again. Sometimes this will be about 4 or 8 cups. After running it through a few times I am left with maybe 1 cup of pulp which goes in the compost.

ALSO it comes with a blank 'screen' so you can puree stuff too, like make carrots the consistency of apple sauce. or put a mango through to have it as soft as ice cream.

Thats a v good deal. My BBB had it for $259. Which one did you goto?

BTW, I purchased this as I like my breville IKON but I am hoping to get more juice out of leafy greens like Kale.
