Everyone I have worked for a bank for 6-7 years now and I can assure you that the max time a charge can be held on your account is 3 business days, after that the merchant can then re-bill you when your product is shipped. That is why you are seeing the charges fall off of your account, so don't sweat it until you actually get some sort of cancel email. -primetime2113

Your order will be fulfilled at the discounted price. As we sold out of our existing stock very quickly, we are in the process of re-allocating stock to SMB customers. We should receive this stock within 2 weeks, at which time your order will then ship with free ground shipping. You will receive a shipping notification with a tracking number once your order has shipped. We apologize that these timelines are longer than indicated on the website at time of purchase.

At the significantly reduced price, the HP TouchPad does not qualify for our standard 30 day return policy and is not returnable.

HP and SMB Order Status Information
If it shows Shipped, then your order has already shipped.
If it shows Item being Processed, then your order is in queue to be shipped and all shipments should be complete by Wednesday August 24, 2011 (It's the end of the 26th. I'm pretty sure this isn't true). Not sure if this means all current 'Item being Processed' will be shipped OR if you don't get a shipment/tracking number by Wednesday, you're out of luck.
If it shows Order Pending, then your order is in review and we ask you to please check your order status again the next business day.

HP Tracking Numbers are Recycled
HP is recycling tracking numbers. If you are lucky enough to get a tracking number, it will likely show shipment to a different location and maybe a year ago. Wait for the shipping company to process the new shipment and you'll get updated tracking. At this point, you are pretty solid for receiving a touchpad.

Method 3: FedEx Track By Reference [fedex.com]: You MAY already have your shipment on the way to you. For SMB the reference # format is [HPorder#]001. For example, 03053XXXX becomes 03053XXXX001.

For people having the "Vista" order status problem:
1. Use method 2 (above) to look up your order ID.
2. Copy that order ID.
3.Log in using method 1 and go to the page with the "Vista" message.
4. Replace the order ID (after OrderNo=) in the URL with the order ID copied in step 2.
5. Press enter and you'll (hopefully) see your new status page.

Status Significance Chart

Field Name	Description
Admin	Your order has been received and validated by the HP order desk.
Production	Your order has been moved into manufacturing and is in the production stage.
Production Done	Your product has been built and is ready for shipment.
Consolidation	The consolidation order status appears for all orders that have been produced and have moved to the consolidation hub. Consolidation occurs for those products that need to be bundled together before shipment.
Shipped	The products have been shipped from the HP premises and are on their way to the customer.
Delivered	The products have arrived at customer facilities and Proof of Delivery is returned to HP. There may be orders for which HP is not able to receive a Proof of Delivery in which case the status of the order will remain as 'shipped.'

Regretfully, expedited shipping is not available on the TouchPad promotion orders. If you requested and were charged for expedited shipping, you will receive a credit for those charges. If your order has already shipped and invoiced, a credit will be applied and a revised invoice sent.
