Let these folks know how you feel -- they are various B&N Corp Executives. (Well, I think some of them may no longer be working for B&N, but in any event, make sure your voice is heard beyond just the generic CSR).
IF ANYONE WAS ABLE TO GET A HP TOUCHPAD FROM B&N, WOULD YOU BE NICE ENOUGH TO POST YOUR SUCCESS, PLEASE. I was just wondering, since so many people were able to get an order in but then had their order canceled and haven't seen anyone post that they got their order.

every one of these touchpad threads has problems with the retailers... either out of stock of the site farking up somehow... server broken, ect... wtf.. lol

As soon as it went live I created an account and TRIED to buy 2.... but what I find HIGHLY interesting and suspicious.....
Order placed = August 22, 2011, 12:29 AM EST Status = Unable to process order. Please call 1-877-379-0036, or 212-414-6024, if outside U.S. (I.E. Canceled) LAST UPDATED= August 22, 2011, 12:39 AM EST If the system put that status 10 mins after I ordered..... why was the ordering system up ALL night?!?! And Why I am I hearing about people who ordered later but weren't canceled yet? Axe |

Guys. Macmall.com did have more at their warehouse, I ordered two this morning like at 10am and they just shipped. I would try calling them and seeing if they have any left.
If you have a tracking number... relax. That means you got one. Normally it takes like 24hrs to show up on UPS site.
