I'm in the Dallas area which has Frys so I was gonna jump on it cause the deal is super hot. However there were none in store and shipping was unavailable (not sure about the rest of the country so you'll have to check). So what I did was print out the shopping cart online with the prices and went to Lowes.
Lowes changed over to the new model a couple of months ago so they are trying to get rid of whats left of these. So the first store I went to only had a dryer, so I asked the person to look up the stock in the metroplex and found a store with both in stock. I went there and they had a set on clearance for $960 each. I showed them my sheet with the prices and they looked it up online which it was there but he said he had to call Frys to confirm it was in store. So he called and it wasn't. So I asked to speak to a manager and I told the manager that Frys had them in stock earlier and that they honor rain checks so I can get it later through them. I also stressed that these are on clearance and that they are trying to get rid of them. So he price matched it for me. I thought it was gonna be super hot by using the Movers 10% off plus I've been told that they give you 10% off the difference if you price match but they wouldn't give it to me. Maybe someone else can...or someone can try to do this at Sears with the Movers coupon.
I bought the 4 year warranty for $180 plus tax my total came out to $1308. Receipt attached
Edit: Lowes Item #'s Washer: 37795 Dryer(electric): 39465
I hope I got everything posted needed so that someone can replicate it. Good luck
