Was this a 1 day deal? I'm seeing Sale price: $2,437.96 now? Am I missing something? Been waiting to buy this from Amazon (saving gift cards I earn online for this) and they have a 14 days price match guarantee and are currently throwing in the Avatar & Glasses starter set for free with it. $1897.9 seems insanely low for this TV.

Not sure Amazon would price match with anything other than the price you see on the page the TV is shown? Edit - okay, you don't hit Continue after you have entered your credit card. As soon as you enter your credit card, the new price shows. Gonna take a screen cap

Was this after you'd purchased under the 14 days price match guarantee? Did you have to do that over the phone with them? Or did you just give them the instructions? I've got my finger on the trigger! |

problem for me is no tax at us appliance but tax at amazon. i want avatar but i can wait until november to save $250. going to pull the trigger at us appliance i think |

 Edit - Shot down! The will not match a 'Special Offer/promotional discounts'. They would only match the $2437 price. I spoke to a guy named Josh who then put me through to someone who deals with larger price matches called Lisa

i do not need the 3d glasses as we have a 50vt25 from last year and 2 pairs. so even if avatar 3d is $50, I will be paying more at amazon after tax, even with 10% off from amex. just going to pull the trigger at us appliance. I was trying to find the price people paid with the 20% off kso but cannot find it |
