I found dozens of negative comments about wirefly on epinions, my3cents...only place that had positive feedback was wirefly.com itself. also verizon store reps say be very careful as they have alot of hidden charges if you make any changes at all to your account. Sounds to me like they're the Spirit Air of the cell phone market.
Wirefly is OK as long as you keep your plan for 6 mos without any changes. After 30 days, you even have the warranty service through the local verizon store.
Prior to that, some changes can cause you to get hit with a fee... not super clear, but it appears that there are levels of service you need to keep to avoid fees.
For instance, if you sign up on a $89/mo plan, then drop to a $59/mo plan, you might be ok... but if you drop to $49/mo, you get the fee.
Note that most of the verizon reps exagerate the issue so you will buy from them. They are on commission and I have had verizon people outright lie to me about stuff to get me to sign a deal with them.
