Doesn't really make sense for me to refi our cars -the one we owe the most on, over the course of the loan if I refi @ 2% I will only save like $200. Yes $200 is $200, but going with PF would mean I'd lose integration with other accounts, payments would be more difficult, etc. Also my assumption is ZERO fees for the transaction which I am not sure is the case.

Just got a auto loan with rate of 1.99% over 72 months from DCU.
Requirements: 1) Need to become member (anyone can become member by joining/contributing as little as $10 to one of listed organizations) 2) Must have great credit - Equifax score of 700+ 3) Must have direct deposit of salary. https://www.dcu.org/index.html |

If a member, USAA offers 1.79% @ 36months.
Rates are subject to change. To qualify for USAA's lowest loan rates, you must have excellent credit and sign up for automatic payments. Your final loan amount may not be for the entire approved amount and is subject to USAA's determination of the value of your selected vehicle. A down payment may be required if you purchase add-ons from the dealer or if you owe more on a trade-in vehicle than it is worth. |
