Nice router. Paid $150 for it new over a year ago. I've been running stock firmware and have no complaints. I tried DD-WRT on it around August of last year, but I couldn't ever get it to "like" all of the devices on my network. If you're wanting to run DD-WRT on it, I'd do some research and see what kind of issues it has and how recently the builds for it have been updated.
With stock firmware, it's much less temperamental than the WRT54G with DD-WRT I'd been running for years.
This is a great router, but FYI it has an atheros chipset so it won't be 100% compatible with some third-party firmware. Here is a guide on how to run dd-wrt on this router (if you absolutely need some of the dd-wrt features), but do note that the performance isn't that great on non-stock firmware as niccogp has mentioned as well: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index....r_WNDR3700
