Better to wait for the D-link DNS-320. Periodically they can be had for the same price at Tigerdirect ($79.99). Otherwise the price hovers ~ $100 at most eTailers. It's a much better unit than this, with much better transfer speeds.

I already have 2 ReadyNAS boxes + an old Maxtor Shared Storage II (which surprisingly gets 10-20 MB/s writes and 15-25 MB/s reads). However, I am on the lookout for a cheap, but good, NAS enclosure for a friend.

From different review I've read, this gets about 15 MB/s read (if you're lucky), and 10 MB/s write. But most report in the 5-10 MB/s range.
