Hello - Does comcast have the restriction/download cap of 250Gig/month by default for all accounts?

All you need to tell them, is that you are tired of the inconsistency of the performance package and that you'd like to upgrade your internet to the $29.99 Blast for 12 months promotion. Be sure that they properly add the package, removing the old, and get a confirmation number at the end. Now, is going over 250GB an automatic warning? Don't know... I've hit as high as 248GB, but always have made sure I never go over 250GB. So yeah -- the faster speed tiers just get you to your cap more quickly -- very lame. Considering a new pet? Have a

I've gone over the limit several times... normally not over 300 gb and never gotten a warning letter. They state that they only warn the 'highest data users' so I imagine if your in the top % of data users for that month you may get a warning. No clue what that % is though... |

Aside from this direct experience, I've always heard they send you a letter warning you... I suppose it can vary from district to district as well (both on how they do it, along with whether they have a zero-tolerance policy above 250GB or give a little bit of leeway). |
