I got one a few weeks ago for around the same price (@ Kohl's) to temporarily replace a Professional III that broke down. I've had various models of Foodsavers going all the way back to the original Italian-made models from Tilia. It's not nearly as bad as others have said, it's just very basic.

Ughhh... I bought this last time it was on sale.. Didn't use it within 30 days and then used it. Its the worst piece of crap imaginable. The seal line is 4x thinner then automatic units. If you thought feeding the auto ones took alot of bags this one takes even more. It requires you to 'thread' both inside open ends of the bag onto these lips Everytime you use it(Tedious with dry noodles let alone meat or a liquid filled dish)

They wouldn't give me a refund because it was past 30 days. I threw this unit that worked exactly like it was manufactured to.. In the garbage.

It didn't come with all the fun containers though I would have kept those they work great. Spend more get one of the automatic sealers and you'll use food saver as part of your daily life.
