Can I use a Logitech THX-Certified 2.1 Speaker System as a theatre system at home?

Although, the speakers are THX certified, they are meant to be connected to a PC or video game console directly for sound. Having said that.You could connect these speakers to the TV, and it may sound okay. It will probably even be louder than your TV speakers, but the quality will not be as good because it uses an analog connection.
I would recommend purchasing a 5.1 channel home theatre system or just sticking with the TV speakers, because the sound quality will be better. Hope that helps. |

Smaller computer speakers will sound very small in a large living room. Also they're 2.1, the only surround sound you will be hearing is simulated.
