Chase Sapphire Preferred 50,000 points, spend 3k in first 3 months

You can also wait a year, forget about the card and when the fee posts its a reminder to cancel. You have 60 days after the billing cycle the fee posts to cancel the account and not have to pay the fee.

I made this card my primary card a few years ago use since I like the extra features. They even gave me 50000 bonus points and waived the annual fee when I re-upgraded from regular sapphire to preferred last month (I started out as preferred, downgraded to sapphire and now I'm back to preferred).
