Deal Details

I was visiting NorCal wine country and I saw this Char Broil Stainless Steel Infrared Gas BBQ Grill for $149.97 at Costco (Santa Rosa / Rohnert Park). Obviously it's YMMV. They had 3 of them left yesterday. Usually things that end ".97" at Costco are clearance items. There were some other summer clearance items spread around the aisles as well.

Features:
-Infrared Gas Grill
-Halogen Lights Included
-21,000 BTU
-Stainless Steel
-Cover Included
-340sq in. Cooking Surface

Item Number:
463262911

It was very compact, perfect for small decks, patios, condos, etc. It is similar to (if not the exact same model as) this one at Lowes for $215:

You visited the Sonoma wine country to go to Costco? Well, Costco wine prices are about half the price they charge at the wineries so I guess that makes sense. The grill looks like a great deal if you can find it.

gosh, this is the same exact grill I have on order from HD but assembly is a week away. Infrared rocks. I'll grab this instead since I never RTFM! Sears Friend And Family SALE tomorrow so looks like we're cooking with gas.

Most Costco branded domestic wines do come from Healdsburg from what I've seen. God that's some beautiful country. Everywhere you look is like a living
postcard.

It gets great reviews at Lowes too. I did not purchase one, but for those who are interested, I suggest you borrow a friend's truck to pick it up. The box is big!

Heading says costco, but link takes me to Lowes. Am I missing something here?

'The link was just to show you what model it was similar too and to give you a price estimate I think. That was why someone also posted the Amazon link (to provide reviews too). Since it was at CostCo, it isn't likely for sale on the website but B&M.

I am on the fence between this or a Weber Q. Decisions...Decisions.

I love my Weber Q but there are times when I wish it had more POWER. Single 12000 btu burner limits what you can do with it.

They are available at Cleveland area Costcos too. I would've jumped on it if I needed a grill. Good deal for sure.

Thanks for the advice. I bought my GF the infrared grill from HD when that deal was up awhile ago but that was 3 burners for 150. Now I need a new grill and I am wondering whether losing some power is worth the transport ability.

Thanks for the heads up, I may have to pick this up if my local store has it.
