This is the heaviest mouse on the planet, even w/ no weights. Anyone who relies on constant, fast movements knows how disadvantageous this can be. =[

I'm thinking about getting the Logitech G700. I have a couple Logitech 50% codes, I can get it for $50 shipped. I have a G500 right now. Do you think its worth it? How's the ergonomics of the G700, do you like it better than the G500?

I would be more worried about what sensor is in this. Might want to check out esreality.com to see what forum members on there say about it.

The Cyborg R.A.T. 7 is heavier than the standard gaming mouse, just played with one at MicroCenter last week, and it wasn't all too bad. It's an interesting mouse to say the least and I enjoyed it but my hand didn't fit right in proximity to the left click button. Probably habit or just floor model but I kept hitting the button to the left of it when clicking down. Oh well.

If dropping $70 on a "gaming" mouse, you sure as hell better research what sensor it has in it and whether or not gamers are having tracking issues or prediction issues or z-axis issues when using it.

yep. had a RAT 7 and hated it. It had a twin eye sensor and would drop the Z-axis while gaming. Had to be unplugged from USB to get it to reinitialize.

tech support was terrible and I ended up RMAing for a brand new RAT 7 with.... yes... the exact same issue.

avoid this "gamer" product and get a logitech G500 if you need a solid wired mouse.

i think the sensor is a Philips Twin-Eye (same suck sensors used at Razor)

I just compare the best gaming mouse online market, this one is the most price competitive,

how is $70 a good deal? i've had mine for a year now, and i bought it at amazon for $80 last october.

and the most important point, i like how the mouse looks and feels, but there's just too many bugs about this mouse that i found out only after i bought it. clicking the left mouse button will make it twitch, especially if you set it on high DPI. this is because the mouse feet are not balanced correctly. second, if you pick up the mouse, the cursor always moves to the bottom right i believe. this is due to the twin eye laser. third, it's extremely picky about what surface you use. there are some micro twitches if you use the wrong mouse pad. i use one of the razer soft pads and it works fine.

overall, if i had the choice to return it for a full refund, i would. i should have picked the logitec g9x instead.

mouse looks pretty sweet, but im sticking with my g9.
