I was just clarifying for SSG that you did use/mention the BOGO Q. Personally I think there was something odd about the whole damn deal/post/rant but that is just my 2¢. |

You can print a price ticket for anything you scan at the red machine. They waste so much paper with those double point things that I have started printing price tickets. At least I recycle. ![]() I wing most of my transactions and rarely pay over .25 at a jedi store and I'm taxed on just about everything. I have a rough amount in my head and much like Kalanchoe I've added up to $5, probably more, in uselful stuff (ice cream, cat food, etc..) to not pay more real money, even though I'm still using the cash cards we earned. For me, CVS is the most lucrative and easiest store to rack up play money, most times without even using an ecb and I end up with a gazillion expired. I'm not complaining but I have been complaining to my fave store since they don't accept expired ecb's, but the SS said they are going to start soon because the SM thought my reasons were valid, as it's also the store I get most of my rc's. It took me months to wear him down to talk to the DM though. The stock issues are fairly severe at that particular store and I told him that he should be allowed to take expired ecbs, as they do take expired mq's when initialed and stapled to their rc's. Sometimes you just need to find an angle that a SM finds worthy.

Anyway, 90% of my stores prefer the coupon to auto and not do a manual entry. I had an SM ask me if I had everything covered, so no worry to them. What I tried to explain to LadyS was that CVS computers are set-up to combine like family coupon codes, so while you can't have overage like in some stores, if you break the transaction down item by item if a bogo autos to more than one bottle it will not allow another coupon for more than the value of all the Pantenes/HE (in this case), so you're not getting overage in the traditional sense, but you can 0 out in a "family" of products and added with a % off or $/$$ you can do very well. As long as people use the coupons for the products indicated, I'm good. The store can decide what they want to do on their end, but it's not coupon fraud to hand over 2 bogo Pantene coupons and a $1/2 Pantene coupon to zero out the Pantene purchases, as they were used within CVS policy and also to the specifications of P&G. Pixi came to chat to talk about a totally different coupon, but LadySedivy (sorry if I'm not spelling that right) tore into her about it because LadyS thought it was all about her, kwim? Pixi wasn't even talking about the same type of transaction/coupon from what I recall, but LadyS was still on her coupon police soapbox and assumed it was the HE/Pantene bogo when it wasn't.CF Pixi I hope I cleared stuff up. I was still at Wags at 10 to midnight and just got in about 2AM, so I hope I don't make more of a mess of things. I seem to do that when I'm trying to help or make things better. After I hit reply on the red box printing price tickets I saw my name mentioned a few times, but no snark so I thought I'd reply to the conversation, but it's almost 4AM, so no snark if I'm fuzzy on the details as I think most of that went on 2 or 3 weeks ago and I've shopped a lot since then. I think with the poster that complained of misuse of the razor coupon thought it was not the manufactures intent on using it that way. Many people felt the same way about other coupons, such as the 10$ oral B rite aid coupon, and this is an individual call if they want to use it that way. If the wording is correct, you are doing nothing wrong. Those who are concerned with intent should just not use it, if you do not fell right about it.

On to other news
I still never got any coupons to my email even after trying to change the email addy myself. But I did call to have them switch my email out on their end. During the conversation the rep said that I had been mailed out coupons ect... regularly. Then she proceeded to tell me of all the lovely coupons that I was supposed to receive but never did. All stuff I read about on the boards and drool over, or that my mom gets. 25%, $4/20, $10 off BP monitor...There wasn't something wrong with my account after all. I was worried because I use plenty of coupons that I didn't "qualify" for the emails. We tried trouble shooting my email, Not in the spam, not in the inbox, not in the trash, checked my filters too. (yahoo btw) Anyhow she was nice enough to directly load the one I was scheduled to receive thurs to my card, and she changed my email to a hotmail account. Hopefully I should receive my proper Q's in 2 weeks. Just for clarity it was only the Beauty club/ part of the Extra care that I never got Q's on. I did get stuff for pharmacy, photo At least got my $4/20 yay! Now to go get me some nexxus, been planning on it all week. Not that I need more shampoo after all this Pantene on sale, but... Hilarious thing is that my doc suggested I switch to Nioxin for a little while, I can't even get the one I need at my CVS and its rarely a sale at others, but I already have enough of the wrong ones to last me at least a year, here I am going to buy Nexxus, but I'm not going to use either. Memories are flooding back now. ![]() ![]() ![]() A razor was only a razor if it wasn't disposable because that's what she thought the intent of the coupon was even though it was good on any razor. ![]() CF----I think you'd have to go back to the beginning on that one. You could have had a field day. I forgot about the razor not being a razor. It was so bizarre, even for here, that I put it out of my mind. I think Nuff officially declared a razor a razor, but LS wouldn't let it go and insisted we were all scammers. ![]() CVS is usually the friendliest thread of the 3 stores here. There's always someone trying to cause a stink and make folks feel guilty about using a legitimate coupon on the correct item. Some days I wonder why they visit SD. We're here to make money, not save .25 on a 18 pack of paper towels.
