Green Bag Tag - but didn't someone say it was ending in August? That seems like a waste of money, IMHO. $7 divided by .25 earning per scan = 28 visits before you start earning money back. Eh, not for me.

You could instead buy 4-5 sets of $/$$ and make at least $60-$70 from the total savings. Then again, those may be going away soon too!

I think most of the CVS regulars have several green tags. I remember one week, maybe around Earth Day, that the magic red machine was spitting out CRTs for free bag tags.

I don't even keep tags on my bags anymore, I just hand a tag over with my CVS card ---- too many times a WAGs, Ralphs/Kroger or Target cashier have tried to charge me for the reusable bag by scanning that tag.

You know what would be super-awesome? A post outlining tips and tricks for keeping track of more than one CVS card easily. It's a snap at RA because everything is interchangeable, but the thought of trying it with CVS gives me cold sweats! Is it as hard as I think? Is it realistic for a small-time couponer (6 inserts a week?). Do you frequently use more than one card in the same store at the same time? Does it work better if you have multiple CVS stores to choose from? So many questions! What have been your experiences?

I'm sorry if I put this in the wrong thread, but today J&J returned my Topical health Rebate (buy 3 neosporin, band aid, bengay, etc.. receive $5) saying that I have not purchased the correct Item (neosporin), but everything is fine and I purchased the right products! I can't find an 1-800 # that I can call. The one on the J&J site is for all other things.
Anybody on SD with the same problem? TIA

Same thing happened to me. My rebate was returned and it said that the lip therapy was not valid when there was a picture of the exact product on the form. I searched on the Healthy Essentials website and found this contact info. Consumer Care Center toll free at 1-800-526-3967, Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm EST. Called and explained the situation and they said they have been getting alot of complaints about this rebate. They took my information over the phone and mailed me a $5 check that I received today. It only took a few days. I did not have to resend the form. BTW....they did ask where I got their number and I told them from their website. Hope this information helps.

sorry for the rant, but this was about the fifth time in less than a day I had to read stuff that I read before or knew about for weeks. My time is precious and I always used SD as my source for being able to drop in, get a quick overview of the newest deals after I had made my own list and devised my attack for the week. Lately it has become more of a time waster as I read the same stuff over and over, same question over and over. SD was always Deals 301 or 401 never deals for dummies. I have heard complaints from others how this forum has become more "spoon-feedish" and always took those comments with a grain of salt. But over the last year it has, unfortunately, been made that way. I was hoping to try to nudge things back a bit so perhaps some others won't leave and you will find as those who master this art leave, this forum will have less value FOR EVERYONE.



With all the info in one place forum users could just go there, pull what info they deem important and do their deals. No need to shout how you combine things. Then maybe stock would still be on the shelves on Wed. or heaven forbid, Saturday.

I know it is easy to get caught up in wanting to report what MM or good deals we all get. And yes, we should report when something like a clearance item works for a deal. That is providing good info for those who read the forums. And I know liv4god is relatively newly back into the game as she didn't even know her store carried AG. I went so far as to post I was on my soapbox meaning I know the comment was OT and was meant to be taken as a rant not an attack.



Extreme couponing on TV ruined or certainly has curtailed the coupon arena, let's not have the internet and over-full mommy blogs do the same to drugstore and grocery deals. PLEASE.

I may be one of the few who can't read every post of all these threads of these type of deals every day, so I do appreciate it when someone shares helpful ideas even though it may have been already been posted earlier. It may be annoying to some but its' helpful to others.

FYI - the Softsoap hand soap refill on clearance counted towards beauty club.
