My response would be along the lines of "thank you for the suggestion, but this option works better for me" with no reason specified. Unrelated: I asked a question over in the CVS FAQ thread about RCs & double dipping on ECBs. I didn't want to cross post, but I am not sure how frequently that thread gets looked at (and I haven't found anything via search). If you have time to answer I would appreciate it. There's no reason to justify the choices we make. If CVS offers both as options, then both are valid. Personally, I hate the "send to card" feature and won't use it...but that doesn't mean I'm going to try and stop others from using it if it fits their style. If nothing else, tell them the voices won't let you use "send to card" until CVS reprograms all of their stores to play nothing but Billy Ray Cyrus and Marilyn Manson over the speakers. Bet they leave you alone after that
Reps are back...for now.
I owe loads of gratitude to everyone that got me where I am! Read the *NEW* CVS FAQ and post your questions there. Let's keep the deal threads deal-related, please.Would it kill you to read the wiki? Or to read the thread? All the experts got to where they are by reading...you can too. |

So I had emailed CVS CSR about no longer receiving emails for the Diabetes program, Beauty club, etc, and the CSR claimed to have fixed an error with my email addy.
Lo and behold, today the diabetes $4/$20 Q was emailed and I didn't receive it. I'm pretty sure that means my account is not fixed ![]() Has this happened to anyone? I understand that a lot of people stop receiving the $/$$ emails, but why am I not receiving Beauty Club and Diabetes program anymore? It's weird because I can usually still use the Qs beep-free, which makes me think they're still valid for my account but somehow just not getting emailed right... |

I don't think I believe that.

These are supposed to be "chat" threads, instead of official store threads, but if someone can link the chat thread into some of the weekly threads then it should be moved with the other important links in future weeks? I'd link it, but I'd probaby screw up the wiki. I just did my first successful copy and paste into a new thread a week or so ago, but I was playing with a wiki that was empty. ![]() So, for anyone that can make a "pretty link" and stick it in the weekly thread under important links, feel free.

If you have a raincheck for an item that is on sale BOGO this week, will the second item come off free after the first items is price modded for the raincheck?
People want to know what sparked my coupon use. I learned in my graduate marketing course that the top 10% of high income households use the majority of coupons. I am determined to be in that top 10% someday.

Random, but am I the only one who thinks the little Halloween candy guys on the CVS ad and in-store displays are cute?
My kids like them too.

One in particular was when there was the spend $30 and get $10 ECB when you purchased $30 of P&G items. I used a RC for the Proglide razor. The price for the razor was modified and I got the $5.00 ECB manually printed and the $10 ECB too. This week I used the RC on the Excedrin for $6.99 (100 ct) for the spend $20 and get $10 ECB. With a $5.00 CRT off 2, three $1.50 MFQs, and a $/$$, it was actually a MM. If unsure about using your RC, use it on a Saturday night. Chances are the cashiers won't know the deals for the following week.
Did you remember to ask for your rainchecks today?

I was buying stuff with RC today and the very nice manager came over and asked the cashier what store the RCs were from and I thought, uh oh, here comes a problem, cause they weren't from that store. turns out that if the RC is from another store, he doesn't get the sale. I never knew that...
And a reminder that it's good to get RCs on everything ... I was using a RC from February bc I needed filler to use ECBs, and didn't realize that the item also was giving ECBs back this week, so it was a great mm. It was crest pro health, which was 3.50 and get 3.50 ECB back ... I bought two, used $1 coupons and got back 9.50. (3.50 twice and 1.25 twice). -- I do not believe in putting controversial statements about politics or social issues in my signature on a shopping site --
THANK YOU TO FRED FOR GETTING ME TO 3,000 and THANK YOU TO STITCHSHOPGIRL FOR 4,000!! |
