Wow, you really are getting into CVS!!!! I don't blame you a bit.... I've seen much better deals there than RA the past few months!!

Very cool... a CVS chat thread!! Love it!!

Someone mentioned that the summer clearance went back to regular price. Urgh - how annoying... same at my stores. Thankfully, I was able to go to one store yesterday when it was ringing up at 90% off. But the one store I visited this morning had the slip N slide that I wanted and the other store didn't have. Frown

It's funny how I've been much more into CVS than RA but I'm not even a serious CVSer as I often burn ecbs and my stores are very inflexible when it comes to coupons. And it's always OOS but I think there are more CVS's in the area which makes it easier to just go there. I did a survey for them which asked about the 20% off which I can only assume is b/c RA has it. I saw I wanted the discount direct and not in a form of an ECB. At least we have a month with ECBs expiration, RA is too short.

I've jumped back in. I have over 100.in ecb's compared to maybe 25. at RA and that's only because of Tylenol and stockings! Smilie Since we still have $/$$'s at CVS it's more time efficient.

One tube of toothpaste last week at RA, it's just pathetic anymore. Frown

I have some total jedi CVS's too, so with the great mm deals lately with the $/$$ it's much more satisfying than RA. I still have hope for RA, but until then here I am. Smilie

I really like the rc flexibility at CVS, as it allows you to choose when you want to hae a bunch of ecb's. Smilie I'm just not great at asking someone to write them, but when there's a great deal and no stock, I take the time!

Lucky you!! I never get $/$$ on my CVS card or in my emails Frown They really don't like me. So it's about equal for CVS and RA... except RA has the 20% off regular prices and CVS regular prices are just sooo outrageous here. And their darn shelf price is always wrong (not in favor of the customer)

Clearance stuff is all over the place at my stores.

I found Easter Hot Wheels at one store last week, but they made for great fillers. Smilie

My top two favorite stores to shop at are both CVS's. The employees are friendly, coupon friendly and coupon knowledgeable. Only one of the RAs I go to comes close and, then, only when a certain crew is working.

I'll shop where the deals are, but the added bonus of being treated well and smooth transactions is huge.

I can see everyone is flocking here. We can cross talk RA & Wags, it throws off the bloggers. Smilie

Why does CVS hate me so?! I have been shopping since I was a kid cause it really was our neighborhood drug store. Anyhow - maybe it's cause I've had my card for so long... but I have never gotten a regular email from CVS - only the ones from CVS photo.

I always seem to get the same cashier when I shop at one of the local stores. Picture Milton (guy with a red stapler in the basement) from Office Space as your cashier. I'm always torn between laughing and crying from frustration. Our adventures together are too numerous to list but one thing never changes. We have the same conversation EVERY SINGLE time.

He says: Your total is _____. (insert large price)
I say: EEK! That doesn't sound right, did you hit the total button? (post-coupon tax state)
->He hits total button
He says: Oh. You owe 7 cents.

Thanks Milton!

CVS hatin' on California again
already the Land of No Doubles and high tax rate
not like we have a lot of $$ anymore
or jobs
hubs BF that worked for Longs tech dept still looking for a job
can't tell him when the goodies I give him come from CVSRoll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Still better than RA or vomit WAGs
CVS has better quality stuff, even organic milk, natural almonds
which gives me a chance to burn ECBs on something other than made in China cr@p
I've had RRs to burn and nothing I wanted!
RA and I just need a break from each other...
CVS has shown the most consistency and predictability in local DS Qing. Most of the clerks from Q-unfriendly Longs have finally adapted (or left)

I agree, CVS has had the best consistency for deals the last few months.

I try to stay away from any food item that has anything to do with China. It does seem of the top 3, the choices are better at CVS.

I've hardly been in RA lately. shake head
