Has anyone else had problems using brickseek for checking inventory quantities. Mine just spins and spins. Am I out of the loop and it's been gone for awhile, or what?
Same here. No luck with stockbyme either.

I've had issues with brickseek since last night - as mentioned, I get the spinning. I wasn't having issues last week.

so with a household of sick people, coughing and such. baby invevitably gets sick too. unfortuantely nothing we have is safe to give for a 6 month old baby with the cough sickies. stupid me sent dh to cvs to go buy something she CAN take, and even wrote down the name of what he was supposed to buy.

not only did he come home with the wrong thing, a medicine for 12 month+ babies, but he threw away the receipt so I looked like a stupid for bring the thing back with no receipt (I shop in there all the time and they know I use coupons!) but the receipt he threw away in public trash also had $5 in beauty club ecb on it!! Bash

I swear I wanted to just kill him over the whole thing. no more sending dh to buy crap no matter how sick I feel myself.

Poor thing. Try as they might (sometimes I'm not even sure about that part!), they never get it right.

When you're better, try calling the number on the back of your cvs card to see if they will reissue. Worth a try!

Why do some store managers have such a problem with coupons like the Revlon bogo? I tried to use an unexpired coupon on the products specified, and the cashier called over the supervisor who called over the store manager to tell me that I couldn't use it because the register wouldn't accept it. I asked him to confirm that he was telling me that I couldn't use the coupon at CVS and would have to use it at another store, like Target, and spend my money there. His response was simply, "yes."

Working in the hospitality industry, it's very frustrating to deal with these types of managers, who shut down when they don't seem to understand their own system, instead of going above and beyond to figure out the reason behind the problem, and find solutions. Perhaps it goes beyond the store level and it's the district manager. Either way, regardless of how many stores are in my area, it makes me want to go above and beyond and use every single coupon possible and do every deal possible at this manager's store. Preferably with him at the register, analyzing every coupon.

How do you deal with these types of managers? Does calling corporate while in the store really have an impact on how the store manager treats these types of coupons, and you? I am an honest couponer using a single extra care account. I appreciate your responses and thanks for letting me rant! Smilie

Had problems with the Revlon coupon today too. I called corporate, but I don't know how much good it will do. For me, I noticed they put in the price for the eyeliner and not the mascara. When I asked, I was told it's CVS corporate policy on a BOGO coupon to enter the lesser price. (the eyeliner in this case) I told them I'd buy it at another store as well and that I was contacting customer service. They were fine with that. Okay, I can take my business elsewhere! By the way, customer service of course said that was NOT their policy and they would contact store management. Sure.

Good for you. I know for fact it's policy to give full value on bogo coupon. That's why you can get 2 items free with bogo coupon and bogo sale. But your cashier was stupid because coupon says Mascara free, not eye liner.

You could see if you can find the ad online. Or maybe ask the very helpful people here and they can tell you. Sometimes we have the ad!

Find the deal thread here for that week and see if there is a link in wiki for ad scan. Maybe you can read it off from that scan.

OR, they should have a binder behind the registers with previous weeks ads in them. They just look thru that ad for the event code.
In the future, if you can, try to save the ad from that week and clip the deal out and keep it with the RC.

It is their lack of knowledge. I had a problem with a new cashier but the other one came over and told her what to do and it worked fine. It does require some cashier intervention to approve it and type in the amount. I think it says something like exceeds amount but that is because all q's over a certain amount need approval.
