Verizon - $50/unlimited talk, text, and web

Beginning Thursday (9/15), Verizon will start offering a pre-paid $50 a month plan for unlimited talk, text, and web. It looks like it will only be available on four phones, ranging from "dumb" photos to Android devices, but that will likely change in the future.

I'm more concerned that it says "web" not data. They just changed their data plan from 30/mo unlimited to a tiered plan ranging from 30-50..... There is no way this includes unlimited data, especially since it's a PP plan. If it does, my plan expires in 2 months and I'm for sure switching.

*EDIT*
Yup, just read the VZ ad. It's unlimited "mobile web", not data. Only 3 dump phones to choose from, and no android that I saw.

Don't LG and Samsung both make high end smart phones? It doesn't say that there aren't smart phones on the plan - they're just saying that you won't be able to go out and buy whatever Android phone you feel like grabbing and activating it on the plan.

Yes, it does. A feature phone is a specific type of phone. It's more sophisticated than a basic phone but less so than a smartphone.
