Skinny (but fattening up) and happy!

They went home a week after birth and this last Wednesday went from every other day weigh-ins to weekly ones! The boy is nearly 5 lbs and his sister is a bit bigger than that. My mom is going to murder my BIL, and the feeling is mutual. She's there until the 22nd. This is going to get interesting....

Sister has been released to take the kids out for walks, but they can't go into crowds just yet. She's still nursing/pumping (AMAZING!!) and the babies love the boob juice for sure!

I'm glad to hear they're doing much better. They did incredibly well for preemies. I hope they continue to grow.

BIL should be been a 1950s dad. He just doesn't get it... a single diaper change does not win you Dad of the Year in my mom's book.

Yeah, it is for the family. But, I have a hard time not being pissed off at my cousin for doing something so stupid. He was 29 and had children; time to grow up. I would like to know who he got the morphine from.

Please keep my friend's son in your prayers (he's 12.) He had emergency surgery for a perforated appendix. Poor little guy was in so much pain when I just left the hospital (he had just gotten up to the peds floor.)

It stinks to see kids in pain like that.

for all of you in here ! I have no updates on my friend at this time. I just hope for a peaceful passing for him.

Kind of forgot about this and was thinking about things and browsing the lounge for whatever reason. Sadly my niece has since left us (in January). Please everyone pray for your kids (who have them) and be thankful for their health! Also, pray for cheap in vitro so there is hope my brother can some day have a child without taking a gamble. I know that some religious sects frown upon the method used (throw out 'afflicted' fertilized eggs in favor of normal ones) but I don't think any benevolent lord would frown upon two people wanting to bring a child into the world without taking the risk of giving them a terrible/very short life.

my first venture into this thread, but please pray for a friend of mine. her mom's had many strokes, the doctors don't know why. she's incapacitated, and they've told my friend to make sure the will is in order :-/. friend's mom has been in the hospital all day after another stroke last night.
